1.Concept of physical beauty

In Shandarism, there are 2 types of beauty which are natural beauty and artificial beauty. Natural beauty is expression of a born perfect body. Artificial beauty is beauty artificially created through the use of cosmetic techniques and products on a born imperfect body. From there, there are 3 degrees of beauty which are beautiful, pretty and cute.

The importance of physical beauty: Emeis, the collective consciousness understands that the beauty of the body is an essential parameter for the psychological balance of masculine and feminine incarnation. It thus allows the free expression of the beauty of man and woman so that the essence of life (the soul) incarnated in these masculine and feminine bodies can maintain their psychic balance and thus be able to fully accomplish their Moira.

2.Body care

In Shandarian thought, body care, which includes skin, nail and hair care, as well as spa and massage, is considered as the extension and continuity of bodily hygiene as well as a mark of self-esteem necessary for the incarnation and accomplishment of the Moira. Therefore, it is advisable to take care of your body in Shandarism.

Perfume: Perfumes of the male and female body are licit and authorized in Shandarism. However, perfumes used and applied to the skin must not contain alcohol, as Shandaran law prohibits alcohol.

Makeup: In Shandarism, there are 2 forms of makeup which are ritual makeup and seductive makeup. Ritual makeup applied as part of certain Shandarian rites is open to both men and women. Seductive makeup applied as part of seduction is only open to women. Here, men don't wear makeup to seduce. They can take care of their skin, but it stops there. Because in Shandarian thought, seductive makeup is linked to femininity and not to masculinity.

3.Hair

Hair must be maintained. This hair maintenance then enters in the domain of Shandarian hygienism. In the event of excessive hair loss, hair loss treatment remains legal and therefore authorized in Shandarism.

Hair dyes and highlights: In Shandarism, one can dye one's hair and add highlights within the limit of pre-existing colors in nature in order to remain as close to the latter. That's to say the colors black, brown, chestnut, auburn/redhead, blonde/platinum blonde, white. On the other hand, hair dyes and highlights in the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink) are not practiced here.

Braids and hair buns: Shandarian women can braid their hair without problems. On the other hand, Shandarian men do not braid their hair. The Shandarian woman's hair bun can only be done at the posterior cervical region (the nape of the neck) and not on the head.

4.Dental appliances, dental implants

Wearing dental appliances to straighten teeth (orthodontics) or removable appliances or even dental implants to replace missing teeth remain lawful and authorized in Shandarism.

5.Tattoos & piercing

Tattoos and piercings, whether temporary or permanent, can only be done if they are necessary for the experience of incarnation, otherwise one must refrain from them. In this sense, there is no categorical authorization or prohibition, everything varies depending on what one must experience or not during this earthly incarnation.

6. Plastic surgery

Shandarism authorizes the use of cosmetic surgery only for the correction of defects causing harm to its wearer (rhinoplasty for example) or for plastic reconstruction following an accident or surgery having disrupted the harmony of biological traits and alter energy circulation for the biological body. This is in order to make it fully functional again and thus be able to continue its incarnation program. Otherwise we refrain from any cosmetic surgery.
